My Recent Experiences as a First-Year Nursing Student


Transitioning into college as a first-year nursing student has been both exciting and challenging. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I was shock in a vibrant community of aspiring healthcare professionals. The tough coursework, including anatomy and physiology, has tested my time management skills and pushed me to develop effective study habits. forming study groups with my peers has given me a sense of companionships and support, essential for navigating the demanding curriculum. While the journey is filled with late nights and moments of self doubt, the passion for helping others and the commitment to becoming a compassionate nurse keep me motivated. Overall, my experience on being a first year has strengthen my dedication to this noble profession and sparked a deeper understanding of the complexities of patient care.

To manage the demanding coursework, I began by creating a structured study schedule that finds specific times for each subject, to make sure I cover all material without feeling overwhelmed. I utilize active learning techniques, such as summarizing lecture notes in my own words and doing group study with my classmates, which reinforces my understanding.
